This has been the biggest confusion of all time or say “Myth” of the boiler industry. You will see “108%”, “99%”, “98%” efficiency everywhere. Are those the true operating efficiency of your boiler? It is a big no.

See following example: A company recently purchase a brand-new Japanese boiler, manufacture promised 98% efficiency and below 78m3/t of fuel per tons of steam ratio. In reality, your actually fuel cost is about 95-108m3/t. You complain, and threat to sue for return….

However, your vendor and operators are going to tell you: 1. 98% is under the best operating condition, where your operating condition is not the best and not at full load. 2. They are going to tell you that your system is flawed, you need RO water, etc. 3. Time is not your friend, switch boiler takes time, and your production cannot have months of down time. 4. The Japanese vendor have “buy out” your employees with their expensive chemicals.

Result: Owner, Investor, Management all at loss.

The KLD F Series Steam Generator is the only TRUE license free Steam Generator in China with water content below 30L per the latest TSG XXXXXX-2020 requirement. All other“module boiler‘’,‘’water tube boiler',‘’hybrid boiler (with mixing structure of water tube, coil and heating tube)‘’, just simply cannot be below 30L under the law of physics. And legally speaking, all of them are manufacturing against the law. Between 2017-2020 there have been too many life taking accidents involving all those illegal steam generators. 

As a result, the Chinese government act swiftly and starting on the 1st of June 2021, the new TSG regulation is going to prevent all those boilers from going into the market. 1. Water Content of Boiler: All physical volume from water inlet to steam outlet below 30L (according to TSG 11-2020), that is considered as license free. The foundation of this regulation that is with a big water content, steam explosion could happen as result of malfunction of operator mistake. With water content below 30L and enforced structure, there is no chance of steam explosion.

2. Water Content of Boiler: All physical volume from water inlet to steam outlet below 50L (according to TSG 11-2020), and pressure below 0.8 MpA this is considered as Level “D” boilers. For level D boiler, the manufacturer might have a manufacture license, they must send their drawing for approval, when arriving on site, Clients are required to report to the local regulating agencies, however they are not required to come and check. The boiler has a legally limited life span of 8 years. After 8 years, it must be trashed.

Many clients have been mistaken by competitor that a KLD steam generator has a very high-water quality requirement, which not correct.

For a natural circulation water tube boiler, mainly Japanese or Korean, they have very high-water quality requirement, and they restrict clients using their chemicals, or else they are going to refuse service.

For KLD force flow coil steam generator, the allowance for TDS is actually 8500, which make the water quality requirement lower than most boilers.
